Was Jack Johnson gaycist?

    People of that era were generally unaccepting of diversity. The racists of that time who didnt allow black people shots at the title and sometimes tried to lynch them if they were victorious, are unfairly singled out. In those gaycist times, did Jack Johnson support this predjudice? How does it effect his legacy and as a whole should this era of gaycism be penalised and scrutinised?

    if you mean by his legacy his boxing legacy then it didn't effect it at all...
    i mean if you hate blacks, whites, gays, woman, catholics, jews or whatever..if you are a bad person that is cruel to children and animals or whatever you're caracter is.. that is nothing to do you with you're qualitys..being it : being a great boxer or whatever.
    i mean ones sporting achievements should not be dragged into ones views and acts in ones personal life or vice versa for that matter

    I've heard rumors that he used to **** young and old men for money to buy malted milkshakes. I've also never seen bullet-proof evidence to counter that, so it's enough in my book to call him gaycist. Moreso than that, a gaycist ******.
