I can see why people thought he;d beat Calzaghe, if you remember that Calzaghe had done bugger all like Cleverly has now up to that point..... just think about Cleverley going up against a big puncher today, noone would believe Clevelry would win cos hes done **** all to prove it.

    No.

He was a promising prospect put in too deep. It broke his fighting spirit.

Lacy had me believing, and I've watched a zillion fighters train since the '40s. He was wrecking big heavyweights sparring. Trainers needed extra padding to do mits; 'n even then, he dislocated elbows.

Lacy was the David Tua of the lower weight. The left hook was all he had.

I liked both guys but they are what they are, gate keepers.

Lacy never beat a SMW as good as Reid.

And don't bring up that poor shot ******* they called Robin Reid in 2005 for Lacy to pound on and act like it's a big win :patsch The Berrio that Bute KTFO is a better SMW than that pitiful version of RR

I really wish that he wouldn't have destroyed his shoulder. We would be talking about him much differently.

:blood what the hell are you talking about? calzaghe was one of the most exciting fighters i've ever seen.

when he used his boxing skills more, he was also great to watch.

i think you need to get out more. hate to see what you think about truly boring fighters. maybe you think they should be shot or something?

that's pretty sad what you posted.

calzaghe had done plenty. he'd been ducked by two american names in the sport as well. now shut the **** up and go away. you're really beginning to get on my ****ing nerves.
