The biggest waste of talent is James Toney in my eyes. If only this man had had more focus and discipline in his career. He still has a great career and achieved ATG status, but what if he had taken this whole thing seriously - maybe we'd have had a top 10 ATG...

Another fighter that comes to mind is swedish 50-60s HW Ingemar Johanson. Terribly powerful right hand, combined with a good jab and beautiful footwork - to bad he stopped training after he became champ after beating Floyd Patterson..

I agree. The Dominican track team lost a great talent when Joan decided to box instead.

Ricardo Williams is the biggest waste that I've ever seen. Not sure about ever though.

valero would have hold his ground @ lightweight or lightwelterweight

    guzman dito @ super bantamweight

put it this way a prime game guzman beats mares or nishioki and gives rigo and donaire an hard time

In his first fight with Funeka, he wasn't shaking his head like that after Funeka, exploded that right hand bomb in his grill. lol After the impact of the punch Guzman head shook involuntarily.

he still has the opportunity to achieve some things. Ike Ibeabuchi on the other hand? he' done for good, and he looked like a machine throughout his short career.
