I agree that it was a weak era but we honestly dont know what the records of Sullivans oponents were because documentation of fights in that era was so poor.

Their level of experience and ability can only be judged from contemporary press reports.

Interesting point of view. He was also the only champ to win a 70-plus-round fight.
