I picked Roy, so I was wrong. 90% of my pick was based on wishful thinking....You want me to praise Joe for beating a past it Roy Jones.. Well sure it makes the Resume look nice. While I'm at it should I give credit to Trevor Berbick for beating Ali?? By your logic, Berbick deserves the very same respect Joe calzaghe should recieve.

Why do you keep mentioning your backbone and integrity? Youre a decent poster most of the time but here you fail.

the difference between berbick and ali was an age gap of 13 years..

not the same thing at all, this wasnt a young fighter taking out the old master there both old.

    fail at what?respecting your opinion?

Failing to acknowledge that Jones is shot to ribbons is even worse then predicting him to win, imho.:D

    i fail at nothing.

i acknowledge he is past his best, just because i refuse to jump on the "jones is a bag of bones bandwaggon" doesnt mean i dont acknowledge the fact he is in decline.

a wise man makes his own decisions,an ignorant man follows public opinion!

    that is all.

Seriously, you must be the only man on the planet who doesn't think Jones is shot; unbelievable. Still, you're entitled to your view I suppose.

Calm down m8, this is a boxing forum:)
We can not conciously pretend that Jones was in as good of condition for the Calzaghe fight as he was for the Ruiz fight

Calzaghe fans just cant accept that Joe just beat a Roy that was already beaten. This is not good scalp. The Kessler and Lacy scalp he has but Roy is just there now. And I **** you not that mother****er was not top 10 ranked for light heavys until that fight was announced. Roy had Tito hurt twice ...Tito. A retired Tito..lol And could not finish him and LOST ROUNDS.... Tito won a good three rounds... and was landing shots on Roy. Roy is a counterpunching punching bag now.

You have to block everything out and be extremely focused to be relaxed and mellow too!

i am calm my xen is at one with ones moJOE! all little niggles pale into insignificance with a good spliff!

hence you are no more and i am at one with the purple haze.

now we can unconsciously pretend that you are objective and picked calzaghe to win,and i can consciously pretend that your view means nothing ?

    only playing.

Luckily, I got stoned a few hours ago off some excellent purple kush and am still somewhat stoned(I havent smoked in months):rasta Ultimately we both know very well that Roy was not in the same condition against Calzaghe as he was with Ruiz:good
