Totally agree with pretty much everything here tbh. Just not sure joshua has the tools like fury does to make it count. A lot of furys success came from drawing wilders punches...then having the footspeed to close the gap and follow up on wilder afterwards. Not sure joshua can do that.

Agree...Joshuas best tactic will be to draw wilders punches....then counter....the problem is it just takes one mistake mistiming it and it becomes a problem. Its hard to counter wilders jab consistantly because whos to say the right hands not following it. You really need to draw the right. Fury done it but furys feighting is on another level to joshuas. He also had the longer reach/height etc and the ability to outbox wilder on the outside easily. Forced wilder to throw first for a change. Plus because joshua doesnt have the footspeed to close the gap quicker...he has to draw it from closer in. Which in itself is risky.

Just cant see joshua getting out of there without getting tagged heavily at some point. Joshua is fundamentally pretty decent...just not sure good fundamental boxings the answer against wilder.

Not much that hasn't been covered on this thread, agree with a lot of views so far Wilders cherry picker opponents have made him look better than he is in reality. Technical Wilders a little better than we joke about, but not by much his list of past opponents speaks for its self.

The man's ducked so many he must have a bad back, even an aged Dylan Whyte got dodged because he thought fury was washed up and a easier option.

As for skills AJ isn't the best ever but brings far more to the table, can sit behind a decent jab comfortable and mix it up with loaded combinations at mid and inside distance. Ruiz caught him in there first fight but has rediculas speed inside, AJ underestermated him and got caught trading.

Think Joshua would have enough ring iq and ability to take this one probably
