There's a lot of confilicting accounts of wether the ref stopped it before the count. And my bookie isn't paying out.
That's what i thought but even Boxing scene are saying TKO. https://www.*******.com/scorecards/...xmhjrj8Z6olbJblqiq_miZvpSSYVcVb6fwtZcZcL7LT7o
It's a KO. A TKO is when the ref stops the fight. A KO is when the fighter gets knocked down and could not get up before the count of 10. DD did not get up by the count of 10, so it's should be a KO.
Both BoxRec and Wikipedia also listed as a KO. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/811429 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Joyce_(boxer)
I always thought if you decide not to get up, it's a TKO. If you can't get up before the 10 count, it's a KO. DD obviously could have gotten up, but chose not to.
The choice of the fighter doesn't really matter. I think it's pretty clear cut. If the fighter doesn't get up by the count of 10, it's a KO.
