    :patsch
Its sad that someone would give Arum the benefit of the doubt.

Juan Manuel Marquez, who had been chasing the big stars for quite some time, who fought the guy who laid out Barrera, then Barrera himselft, and chased after Pacquiao, ducks Morales, how many more of those jokes you have?

Bob Arum is well known for putting bullcrap out there to hype his fighters and downplay others. The Marquez team did admit to have heard of the offer, but there was never a written letter, or any direct freaking documentation to Arum's claim.

Juan Manuel Marquez, the guy who accepted $700k to fight Barrera and lowered his fees and accepted whatever conditions where thrown at him to get the rematch with Pacquiao, would have signed on the spot for those supposed $1.5 mil.

And then its obvious that there was no space for JMM in Arum's plans, as the entire 2006 was played so that Morales and Pacquiao would meet in the fall.

That my friend is the darn truth. :verysad

Well don't cry. We could all speak the ****ing truth, even pacdbest would speak the ****ing truth that your stigma alone against him would make you blind to see it.
Poor guy jmm. His style sucks that arum want em and pac instead. But what makes me more sad is that ignorant posters like you calls arum a snake. Can't blame arum if your boy is boring. Arum just got a good business sense you know?:rasta

Dude, who am I to tell Divac anything? :rofl

You put your own boxing knowledge into question when you believe that David "Struggle with Bums" Diaz can beat JMM, he is not even a good brawler. Its quite easy to see that the guy will not amount to much. I see it just as an excuse to make Pacquiao's upcoming paper belt win as more than it actually is. :yep

Every guy manny fights seems to be a bum in your eyes eh?
That makes pac haters like you lose cred too, because here you proclaim we make "hate" threads in retaliation of pachaters, yet every one pac fights seems to be an easy fight for pac! Why not give pac cred? Of course not, then why not just keep it shut? Everyone got opinions and if you are trying to argue that jmm won both fights yet the validity that you rely on consensus alone is not enough: it's on paper, and when it's on paper, controversial or not, it will always be scored a d and a w. Well l for your boy.Not a volume of words could take back that w from pac, anyways.. What makes it worse for you: it's such a close call!
I guess you would not ever credit pac in the future who ever he fights:and that i expect to see from posters like you.:-(

you're mixing things, those are recent moves from team marquez. The fight with morales that i was talking about was way back then after marquez had a draw with pac.

Do you honestly think arum was protecting morales? lol..:rofl Morales was already a marketable fighter before his first fight with barrera and he took on all comers, He even fought with a relatively unknown prospect who was also a good fighter and that was when he already is a big name player.

Before his fight with pac his record was 48-2, with those 2 loses only coming from one man. And with loses, who honestly he should have won that trilogy. Were very very close. Anybody would have such a 2nd thought wheter to fight morales or not. He has that aura of invincivility like i said.

And like i said, if those were lies marquez could have filed a case.

I got other things to do that just wait for replies homie.

But on D.D. Why would you want to do that? The David Diaz story will most likely end after Pacquiao beats him.

And the fight will never get made, its a Top Rank stable nobody that means nothing to JMM and I doubt Golden Boy would ever waste time with it.

If by some odd turns of events, its gets made (highly unlikely) in the near future and JMM is not 40 years old, pin me back.

Hey if jmm fights the likes of salido, jandaeng, and john:who knows? Do you think he would jump quickly to a 135 elite? I don't know. But if that happens anyways i'll pm you, selfkill, and that 4ff guy for the avatar bet.

I know the story of back then as well, the same **** happened. :deal
Arum preferred to dish out his verbal bullcrap and toss JMM to the side to clear the way for a big money making fight between his cashcow and the rising star who upset Barrera. Im telling you homes, there is nothing else to this. :yep

you should get shot for that statement, Casamayor is past his ****ing prime and as a casamayor fan you should know that. MAB and EM was at their peak and already past their primes at 130, what more at 135?

you should have known that by that time(2004) morales and barrera were busy fighting each other, you know very well their heated dispute against each other and that fight(trilogy is the most that makes sense by that time). Everybody in the boxing world want a 3rd fight, which makes more sense than fighting casamayor.

Plus, you failed to mentioned that also by that time(2004), corrales already moved up to lightweight
