    ;) Okay. Nevermind.

"LOMA had one arm. Teo is a weight bully. Floyd vs. Emanuel Augustus was better."

    Carry on.

This is 2021, so we are 21 years into this century. You are saying that fight is the second best fight out of 21 years of light weight fighting. I think not. Now you can carry on.

Because ALL the Lightweight Title fights this century that were SO MUCH BETTER than ... the multiple knockdown, monster upset, bloodbath between two undefeateds (one the reigning Pound-for-pound Lightweight King) for all the Lightweight Titles ... we saw on Saturday were ...?

    Take your time.

Just because you all excited don't mean everybody is. You hyping a good fight up like it was some how extra special. It was not. Just a decent fight. I think it would be a waste of my time to break it down for you so carry on with that BS.

Of course. I'm sure there's a one-armed Loma thread or a hundred you can waste your time in.

No need to discuss the epic World Lightweight title UPSET that took place 24 hours ago and how rarely we actually see an epic, bloody, multiple knockdown war and the WORLD Lightweight title changing hands from the undefeatead World champ to longshot underdog challenger these days.
    That would be BS. :hang

    Good night.

It was just an opinion, no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Mandatory undefeated challenger beats unified champ by split decision in the champion’s first title defense. Good fight, I always root for an underdog. Probably my favorite fight of the year after Usyk/AJ and Fury/Wilder2.

I’m probably the wrong guy to declare something “historic”. The media loves to do this sort of thing (declaring a player who has a coupe great years as an all time great, a great game is declared possible best of all time, etc. ). It’s probably best to wait a bit before declaring any historical significance. Let’s see if we are still talking about the event a year from now.
