No. Dropping weight would've been hard for him as a big welter, putting muscle on for GGG then dropping down straight away, plus GGG shattered one side of his face..Im not a massive fan of Brook but I do think pre GGG it would've been a different fight, a pts fight a hard fight but Brook the winner just, very underrated fighter imo
Kell Brook mentally quit in that fight. He prepared his quit by doing some fake blinking, and throwing a last big combination to look like he "tried".
No, Brook was not 100%, would it have changed the outcome if he was, unfortunately we will never know.
To be fair to Brook, at least he DID get hit on his eye, unlike Khan who pretended he took a nut shot when Crawford clipped his thigh....
I had Brook ahead before the clash of heads and the subsequent injury. Not sure how much GGG took from Brook, it was a beat down. A 100% Kell takes Spence to school. We'll never see a 100% Kell though.
maybe he wasn't 100% but it's not say the outcome would of been any different as Spence wouldn't be denied that night.Respect for both guys for putting on a high level of boxing.
