I didnt get to see a good angle on it but it looked like he was hit with a shot as he went down. There was no talk of it in the broadcats just want to see what anyone else though. He wasnt hurt but could it have been ruled a knockdown?

he slipped, Pascal was also slipping and sliding in that very same corner prior to doing the reverse moonwalk across the ring

Wasn't a KD, didn't matter if it was either.. Pascal was completely out of it.

did you see him fall into the ropes then stumble to the other corner.. and then take 2 hard shots while dropping his hands?

Yeah but a 10 count and he may have recovered, if it was a knockdown it would matter, its worthwile to know wether it was or not. Pascal should have taken a knee or been given a count himself when he fell into the ropes. Kovalev did take a bit of time in fairness playing up to the crowd

They were seperated and he was given time to recover anyway time he didn't deserve.

Kovalev took the extra time when you fall the ref pulls you and hits the gloves a 10 count would have killed a bit more time, sometimes a few extra seconds can be key. It wasnt a knockdown regardless

yeah man would have been great , imagine if pascal came back from that and beat him, fight of the decade kind of stuff. He was out on his feet though another kovalev shot could have really hurt him. Id watch a rematch for sure
