I don't think so it was a close competitive fight could have gone either way with the Split decision reflecting that, Alvarez-Lara is called a robbery because of one wide score really. If the three judges would of officially had Canelo winning 7-5 instead of the one 117 score card then no one would really have had a problem.
I don't feel it was a robbery and it could've gone either way, but do think Lara was on his bicycle for a lot of the rounds.
Robbed is harsh. But I did think he won, by just one measly round. I suppose you could argue the one judge that had it a wash for Canelo wasn't judging fairly, so in that sense Lara was robbed of the opportunity to have that 3rd judge possibly see it his way in a close fight.
I had 115-113 Lara but could have went either way. Sometimes, when we have a close fight that could have gone either way, when we get bad score cards it creates the illusion of a robbery.
YES, Canelo landed one uppercut and 10 at the most legit body shots throughout the whole fight. All he hit the rest of the fight was fresh air, forearms, and elbows. As hard as it maybe to accept, Lara won that fight.
I thought Lara had the win but gave it up in the final half of the fight. I wasn't annoyed with the 'decision', but it was the score that got me!
