First of all we got news that WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev can't take on Sutan Ibragimov in a unification bout because of possibly having suffered a Hepatitis b infection and won't return to the ring in 2007. Then Cuban amateur stars Rigondeaux and Lara changed their mind and returned to Cuba to give up boxing because of Castro having set pressure on their families. They won't be allowed to ever participate in boxing again, neither amateur or pro. And last but not least Anthony Mundine, the WBA regular super middleweight champ, may have suffered a career ending eye injury due to a bacteria infection.
