Was Lennox a 'dirty' fighter?

    Lewis was a dirty fighter (holding and hitting and leaning on the back). He didn't use low blows, however.

    Was Lewis a dirty fighter? Not in most cases, but he certainly bent the rules and fouled when he needed to. He also wore a high cup guard that covered some ribs to help out vs body punchers from time to time.

    Yes.

    Only because pretty much every fighter is a dirty fighter

    Yes, but most of the greats were. My old boxing trainer used to tell me, " If You aint cheating, your not trying hard enough to win". Every fighter cheats, some more than others, it's just part of the sport, like in all contact sports, fouls are bound to happen.
