Was Lennox Lewis an underrated hard puncher?

    Can you explain this? Not sure I get what you mean. Especially at lighter weights, Hearns had the power of a hard hitter a couple weight classes above where he was. No 6'1" welter had any right to be able to bang that hard.

    I was referring to how Lewis semi-towered over more than a few heavyweights he fought, like Hearns did at the lighter weights, and had to punch down sometimes. But both he and Thomas found ways to maximize leverage that way.

    That said, Lewis' right was potent at many angles, including overhand and uppercut. His right hook to the body...ouch.
