he wasn't completely passed it but he was not at his best

vitali took the fight on short notice

lewis seemed to be finding an answer for vitali when the fight got stopped

however you never know what would of happened, lewis got stopped twice before and both men seemed tired

prime vs prime it would be too close to call, maybe lwis by a round or 2

All this TKO6 stuff is really spoiling the memory of what was a superb fight with two superb fighters.

    Its a shame.

BOTH fighters took the fight on short notice, it wasn't like Vitali was chilling at home out of shape and then told he had to fight Lewis. Both guys were training for different opponents and both guys were disadvantaged by the change of opponents.

Well I dont know if physicaly Lennox was in his prime, but he was in his prime as a

or at least close to it. When Lewis body was in it's prime he wasn't as good technically and mentally as he was when fought Vitali as illustrated by McCall ko. He was coming of Tyson win.

When it comes to weight Wladimir just weighed at his highest weight against Thompson. Wladimir must be old and passt it. By the way he is 36 only a year younger than LL then. Defo Wlad is finished.:yep

    7 pounds is a huge weight gain for a 6 5 guy.
Was Lennox in his prime when he fought Rahman first time?

Well he weighed only 3 pounds less.

Lewis could've forgot to take a dump for all we know.....:yep

    Wasn't Maskaev 38 when he ko'd Rahman?

Lewis wasn't ancient, but let's be fair, he was definitely heavy and passed his best. Vitali even said of Lewis, "He was very heavy. I could see all shots coming from him."

This is going by far too ridiculous to call. I never experienced ever anywhere so many posts sand threads about a stupid fight between two 6'5'' plus HWTs that ended with one guy clearly unable to continue. It might have gone all the way and Vitali stealing it, it might have been the beggining of a serious onslaught and beating that either inside or going the distance would favour Lewis. Ridiculous and concerning Lewis were his one punch KO losses to Oliver McCall in London and to Hasim Rahman in SA, no matter if he avenged those or not, ridiculous was Vitali getting out of the Byrd fight too.

If Lewis was humiliated ,Vitaly was too. They were both bad as each other in terms of being tired.
