I asked some professionals regarding this timeline.
They all agree it's mostly spot on.

This is the best and most accurate time line of Lennox Lewis's

    physical and boxing 'primes'

    Lennox Lewis Debut 1989.

Very fast rise to elite level. 90-91
Gary Mason to Razer Ruddock - Everyone thought he was heading towards an early prime.

For one reason or another, he started regressing after Ruddock. I blame it on the fact he had so much hope placed in the unification fight with Bowe. When that was cheated from him, he lost focus.

    Ruddock to MC-CALL 1.
Steady Regression, he still beat Bruno based on pure skills and courage, but the regression compare to his Ruddock Days was clear to see.

    Pick Up Steward
    95-97.
Regaining confidence, regaining skills, heading towards his true prime.
    Physical peak during this time.

97-Golota to end of 2000. David Tua:
Continuation of Physical Prime, he now enters his boxing prime.
His physical peak was around 95-98. He was no longer in his physical prime after 98, but his boxing prime continued up until the end of 2000.

    2001
Rahman 1- Way Past Physical Prime. Slightly past boxing prime. Zero-Motivation. Under Trained.

Rahman 2- Way Past Physical Prime. Past Boxing prime. But HIGHLY MOTIVATED. Very well trained.

Tyson- Way Past Physical Prime. Past boxing prime.
Highly motivated, very well trained. Combine that with a shot Tyson and Lewis looked great.

Vitali- Way Past Physical Prime, semi retired, way past boxing prime.
Won on pure courage, skills, determination, and a bit of luck.

It might have been but the fight that he had didn't get near the 10th anyway so the "Vitali trained for a 10 rounder and gassed" argument can't really bear fruit here.

We know what would have happened. There used to be a thread over a 1000 pages long on here before one of the big crashes ESB is prone to.

There's no doubt Vitlay would have gottem Ko'd in the 7th round.

Lewis was old and shot when he won by spectacular TKO6 victory.

Vitali on other hand was in his prime when he spent the night in hospital getting his face stitched back together.

Lewis is a yellow ass *******. Robbed us of a great rematch. Would have been the greatest fight ever.

He said he was so... If he was in his prime then, that means he truly should never have been fighting old Tyson and he certainly should not have been beaten by Rahman.
But it's embarrassing for Vitali if Lewis wasnt in his prime.

Why do K2 fans insist on making these threads? You know the only answer will be TKO6 OR

    Lewis TKO6

    Yup.

Here's a question, why are hardcore boxing fans the biggest haters of any sport fans?

I have to be a brittard? to know that Lewis was old and not in great shape, and even though down on card he was busting vitali's face up and had 6 ROUNDS to go? And i'm a fan of Vitali.

Everything on here anymore is about *******, *****s, and glass chins.

    Boring ****.

You don't need to have been an "expert" to arrive at this conclusion. I have all of Lewis' fights and you can see him age before your eyes if you watch all of his fights. He was amazingly fast for his size when he was younger btw.
