I was never a Lennox Lewis fan, but he definately wasn't boring in the ring, only outside of it........ boring personality, and boring announcer !

It had a lot to do with his attitude being too quiet that gave the public that idea, he was barely trash talking and when he did not many understood what he's aiming at.

Gotta agree. When your accent is a mixture of Jamaican, British, and Canadian, you'd be annoying to be listened to.

Didn't expect any logical response from an idiot like you.

Hatton, Pacquiao, Tszyu, <insert as many Mexican fighters as you want here>, Darchinyan and endless other examples aren't American either and they have a great reputation in America. America doesn't necessarily blindly nuthug based on race and location like drunken worthless losers do.

When people label fighters such as Lewis "boring" you have to question what they want from a sport like boxing.

In boxing you have to avoid getting hit, and tall fighters have more of an option than short fighters.

I think that he deserved to be called boring. There where a lot of his fights where he could have turned it up and got a guy out of there. Im remember the Tyson fight whem Stewart had to curse him out to get Lewis to throw a right hand that Tyson was basically waiting for. He would have been fine throwing that long jab of his. :-(

"Larry the referee is the third most important man in the ring tonight"

(paraphrasing)"Just wait, Barkley has that power and Toney better be careful"

(during the bowe-golota riots) "oh no, don't do it son"-followed by big george laying out some ****ing punk

    "BUY MY GRILLS!"

It's because he's not American. As we all know, American fighters are immune from criticism. Larry Holmes, Oscar De La Hoya, and especially Floyd Mayweather Jr are immune from criticism.

Non-American fighters don't get credit for being great, or exciting. Especially Julio Cesar Chavez, Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao.
