Actually, I was foaming at the mouth for the return of Vitali Klit versus Sammy Peter last October......... I thought it would be a war...... I was picking my man V.K. to win, but I had no clue that Klit would do it so easy against the slobbish Peter....... Cheers......

I remember looking forward to Sanders- Vitali. It was great action for the first six rounds.
If sanders however had been in the same shape he was in against wlad, the fight could have had a different outcome.

Sanders came in in much better shape against Vitali than against Wlad. I remember him saying so in pre-fight interviews. He said how he had enough money this time to pay better sparring partners and take longer time off his day job to prepare.

Vitali just was too much for Sanders that night.

Klit vs Sanders was entertaining. Also showed a hell of a lot of Vitalis weaknesses.

He came in worse shape for his fight against Vitali, than he did for Wlad. Sanders came in weighing 10 more pounds and was overconfident. Even Lewis' came into Corrie's training camp to help show him what to do to beat Vitali.

Considering he lost one round (round 1) i wonder how many weaknesses you could find.
IMO best technical performance by Vitali, much better than the horrible version who lost by Lewis. Obvously, however, his phisical prime was years before.

Look at who he was fighting, a career fringe contender who makes his living playing golf part time. He was fat and old, he both hit and hurt VK, look at VK's eyes when he gets tagged - pure panic.

It was priceless, but nothing compares to Wlad's reaction to Sanders big left hand. You would of thought the canvas was a trampoline the way Wlad kept bouncing up and down. I loved every second of that fight, it was the first real glimpse of Wlad's glass chin.:good

    1. 2.5 lbs, not 10lbs.
    2. Read Sanders OWN interviews before the fight. Hear him talk about the training conditions before his Wlad fight weren't as good because he couldn't afford an expensive and full-fledged camp. Hear him say how happy he was with his camp for Vitali and how he feels he is in much better shape than against Wlad.
    3. Lewis didn't go help Sanders in order to be a good Samaritan, but because he hoped if Vitali was beaten by a "hobby golfer" then cries for a rematch would subside. He did it for his own legacy.

Just because Sanders knocked out Wlad in 2 rounds doesn't mean he was in worse shape than when he lost to Vitali in 8 (!). That's ludicrous.

Was Foreman in great shape when he knocked out Moorer?

Look at Lewis' eyes when Briggs hit him. Or when Rahman hit him. Or when McCall hit him. Or when Vitali hit him. PURE PANIC.

Look at Haye's eyes when Mormeck decked him. Or when Thompson hit him. Or when Barrett floored him. PURE PANIC.

My God you clowns are pathetic. This is boxing, people get hit. If you don't like it watch car racing.
