Was Liam Wilson treated fairly by the dodgy referee who gave the home fighter too long to recover?

The ref knew what he was doing and Wilson will be very disappointed watching this back.

I think the count was good. I counted from the second Navarette hit the ground. I was at 6, the ref was at 5, and continued until 8, promptly asked Naverette to walk to him, then picked up the mouth piece and placed it in his mouth. Navarwtte had some issues inserting the piece. But nothing crazy with the delay. I really can't see how the ref could have gone any faster while ensuring the fighters safety.

Wilson should have been DQed for blatantly hitting a downed opponent.
It wasnt accidental as he clearly held down Navarrettes head and swung for the fences.
