Was Liam Wilson treated fairly by the dodgy referee who gave the home fighter too long to recover?

That "walk to the left, walk to the right" ****, I feel it's a modern phenomena. Who started that ****? Was it Mercante Jr? He's always been a bit of a drama queen. The old timer refs, as incompetent as many were, didn't do the whole traffic cop routine!

Yes, basicalliy because wilson is briton, righ?

The rabit punches are there, very clear and 100% intentional, to anyone who can see. The last punch with the hand on the canvas, 100% illegal too, is there too so that anyone not blind can see it too. You should go to the oculist if you can't see them.

The ref knew what he was doing and Wilson will be very disappointed watching this back.

I think the count was good. I counted from the second Navarette hit the ground. I was at 6, the ref was at 5, and continued until 8, promptly asked Naverette to walk to him, then picked up the mouth piece and placed it in his mouth. Navarwtte had some issues inserting the piece. But nothing crazy with the delay. I really can't see how the ref could have gone any faster while ensuring the fighters safety.

So how many people are making a stand against clinching? Exactly. You don’t even know what rule was broken.

The ref screwed Wilson. Gave Navaette too much time to recover. Spitting the mouthpiece out should cost him a point as well.

Yes. The ref clearly showed then and throughout the fight that he wanted the promoter's boxer to win.

    Lol...these threads are pathetic.
Wilson should have been DQed for blatantly hitting a downed opponent.
It wasnt accidental as he clearly held down Navarrettes head and swung for the fences.
    100% intentional foul!
