Was Loma v Linares better than all Pac`s classic bouts?

Nah, no way. Linares is a great win for Loma, due to Loma moving up to a new weight and Linares being the man at that weight. But Linares gets stopped in the later rounds by Pac and in no way is Linares near the level of Marquez.

 

No way!!!! NOT CLOSE!!! Last nights fight was fine, high level of skills on display mainly by LOMA but at no point did I ever feel like Linares was on the verge of victory. It didn’t have near the drama of the PAC -Marquez series.

I'm one of the few here who considered Linares a great challenge, so I can attest Loma fought a legit champ.

But I've never ranked Linares on the line of JMM, MAB, Erik Morales, the fighters Pac beat when those guys were called P4P top 10.

I never ranked Linares top 10 P4p. I ranked him as the man to beat in his weight class. No way does last night fight compare to what Pac did in his prime.
