This entire post is made up of straw man arguments I never made, as per usual, in an attempt to deflect. For instance, when did I say anything about ten round fights? When? The point is you are going to argue and believe what you want. Im not trying to convince a moron like you of anything. Anybody who is remotely curious about this subject doesnt have to take my word for it or yours. They can research it themselves and Im confident they will come away with similar conclusions to what I have illustrated.

Show us where to research this claim, which is the very basis of this thread:

All your ‘research’ and you haven’t yet cited one source, one quote ... anything.

Why don’t you quit trying to obfuscate and misdirect and address this?

You really need to take the Dupas/Pastrano discussion to the other thread and quit trying to dodge the point of this thread (your own words, quoted above), but ...

You stated that the boys needed to go to Miami to get the kind of fights Esneault couldn’t get them in New Orleans to make them attractions and build them up, but Dupas became a contender by beating Savoie in New Orleans and fought name fighters like Paddy DeMarco and Johnny Gonsalves and others there.

Willie fought Rex Layne and Joey Maxim and others in New Orleans.

Seems to me that once they got past their developmental stages and Dundee had them ready, there was no problem in getting them meaningful fights in NOLA.
