The way his body turned when he fell down and his arms looked like they went limb for a second but he popped right back up immediately. Was it just a flash KD and his body just fell in an awkward position or was he really hurt and when he hit the canvas it kinda "woke him back up" luke Campbell never been a power puncher but if linares hits him clean he may be in some serious trouble, what u guys think?

Not even close, the shot landed as flush as it possibly could have, and literally wrenched his neck to the side. Quite frankly the impact was so ferocious, I was shocked that he got back up from it. Hence why I was praising Ryan's chin after the fight. He was a very legit KD, from a very legit KO level punch. So the fact that he got up and shook it off as easily as he did was genuinely impressive.

    Definitely...

I was hoping it would be Stank Davis. But he seems to have chickened out. Haney is tied up as is Fimo. Personally and realistically speaking... I'd love to see him spark out Lee Selby next.

Garcia did well to get up, the way he went down wasn't a flash Knockdown, he was in serious trouble.

Garcia has some questions to answer about his chin now, Campbell isn't a big puncher, so to react like isn't a good sign.

Good chin is stand and bang like in cinema films Rocky I, Rocky II, Rocky III and Rocky IV ?
He definitely isn't good finisher and his style is far MORE close to a point fighter than even Loma's style btw.
However he does have not bad reach for this weight class, look also how large he looked vs Loma?

Some punch power he definitely does have, from 20 his wins Campbell had 16 wins via stoppage.
He isn't pillow fisted just his style def isn't finisher's style.

Could be a bit too early, but something tells me his chin won’t hold up against real hitters. Imagine if Teo landed that shot, I think he would’ve finished Ryan off

Campbell too might had finished him if this wasn't single punch normally landed.
Like some combo with 2-3 punches. Why not.

Garcia needs to work on the angle he holds his chin and needs to learn that he's most vulnerable during and after his own attack

He was there for the taking against Campbell, an elite fighter would land often and possibly hard. Luckily he's only 22 so plenty of time to correct these issues. And if he does, look out, because he has all the physical gifts and then some

I think he has a good chin that will improve as he moves up ala De La Hoya

    I think chin is normal.
He doesn't have defense, almost 0 in ALL aspects besides skills to step back sometimes, that's all.

Imagine what might happened with him if he had not Campbell but Rigo version in Campbell's size? KTFO had happened.

Think it has to be put in perspective.. A lot of these prospects (Garcia, Tank, Haney) are weight bullies and the size advantage they have MAY have a beneficial impact on their punch resistance. Put them in with someone their size and they may be out for the count.. Garcia looks pretty huge at 135

First boxer from real possible TOP 25 Garcia had in the ring was Campbell.
Bearing in mind that Garcia is more physically gifted than Linares, not alone Loma and Campbell did not managed even drop them, despite he is legit Olympic champion and was ranked in pros really not low.
Tank at least had some opponents who managed to punch him normally and guy still continued to fight smoothly.
Garcie: first opponent who was able to land on him anything really properly was Campbell. Not much experience despite high number of easy spoon feed fights.
    Yes.

The worst part is im big fans of these young 35ers but they r pretty big for 135 its almost not fair for the lomas and others who really have to be 130lbers and under and forced to cut weight because of these guys but its about multiple divisions belt holders being the highest stock value and weight cutting more than a reasonable amount of weight is a little dangerous. Less brain fluid the more susceptible to KO. I made a thread about how we need to do something about the weight classes

    Yeah.
For example both: Russel Jr. ( current WBC World Title holder ) and Salido had competed at 126 lbs.
When fight Salido vs Loma had happened, media reported that Salido didn't managed to weight in in limit.
Fight night weight ins were 147 lbs for Salido.
Salido had competed at 126 lbs and he really was larger than Russel Jr.

Rigo too had suffered cos both things: too late turned into pros and was too small in some fights.
