    How is that? Rewatch round nine. Margarito landed a decent share of punches, but Santos landed the harder, cleaner shots. The final round of the fight was a Santos round.

    Those last 50 seconds are just some solid evidence of what was going on. Santos just couldn't keep Margarito from walking all over him so he was throwing a lot of feather fisted flurries and exploring angles on the back foot ... It is a wrong perception to assume it is a close and competitive fight when one fighter is fighting his opponent away and doing it along the ropes and corners. Margarito was bothered with the blood and Santos was looking only for the cut. Still, you can sense that Santos couldn't take it and so he had to back away, throw some more and run the clock down.

    It was a close fight, don't let the morons who say "Margarito was about to KO Santos" fool you. Margarito rocked Santos once in that fight, Santos rocked him twice. Overall a good fight though

    Yes, I boxed enough in order to say that Santos was not comfortable taking any shots from him... He couldn't keep Tony standing still and worried on defense. And that means both Santos and Margo knew they couldn't fight on even terms... All Santos was doing was winding em up and moving and moving and moving AWAY. The fight was only competitive forthe first 3 rounds or something.

    Santos was winning on rounds at the time of the stoppage, but Tony was coming on.

    I am half Rican, I say Margarito, then again I am half Mexican to:thumbsup
    Antuwan I didnt catch that, so I was wrong tony did say he won!!!
    But that still doesnt change the fact that Santos butted him in two fights that caused Cuts which caused the fight to be stopped.
    but like I said before that fight is water under the bridge, Tony has the biggest statement to make this weekend and he will
