I'd rather see neither.. but ****ing Bradley is pillow-fisted.. and it'd be a horrible style match-up... it'd be terrible to watch.

It's just right now 140-154 is pretty down on talent.

There's some good guys, but a real lack of super compelling match-ups.. and outside of Pac.. there's really no compelling fights for Mayweather... Porter and Thurman aren't big enough names yet... but most of the others are left-overs or has-beens.. or never weres.

Bradley would be a horrific fight that won't sell either. I do agree that there aren't any other options out there but Mayweather will most likely fight Amir Khan next. Sure that fight is a joke but I'll still tune in for the fun factor considering Khan, to his credit, is never in boring fights.

Cherry pick, and underestimated, but Void required Maidana to wear pillows for gloves. Will he have to wear 24 oz. gloves in the rematch?

He was the number 5 or 6 ranked WW by everyone going into the fight with Mayweather.

I don't see how facing a top 5 challenger is ever a cherry pick, but I guess some people do.

Maidana was not a cherry pick and was not drained, thats why it was the first Floyd fight I bought in years. I'm not even close to being a Floyd fan but Maidana can fight and Floyd shouldnt get crap for picking him.

The Broner fight showed Chino would be trouble, I figured against Floyd he'd fight like a wildman and he did, fighting like a wild man is not the easiest style to deal with....

    Both.

But mainly a cherry pick, because he already lost in bad ways against Alexander, that totally schooled and dominated him without letting him to win even a single round (!!!), to Khan, that dropped him in the very first round and took his best "power punches" or "power slaps" right on the point of his chin, and didn't even went down, not even once (!!!!!!!!)

when you know those facts, you don't pick Maidina considering him a dangerous opponent. He can't outpoint anybody with a pulse, and he cannot even stop Amir mother****ing Khan, with his chin and all.

So, no danger of being outpointed, and even less danger of risky punches. ----> Cherrypick.

Careful about calling Maidina a super middle. Because Floyd was as big as him, while having a lower body fat percentage.

Both a cherry pick and underestimated. The two are not mutually exclusive. In fact they're more naturally linked than delinked.

It's neither. Maidana is a much improved fighter and his awkward style under Garcia has proved to be very successful. Mayweather took the fight because he thought it would sell best with maidana beating Broner recently.

The public underestimated the success that Maidana would have.

Only Mayweather can choose a world champion coming off an impressive win and be accussed of cherry picking
