No question that the ref was on the take, but I'm trying to comprehend the sheer number of low-blows Mares threw. OK, he's not the cleanest fighter I've ever seen, but (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't recall him ever being anywhere near THIS dirty before. - And Agbeko wasn't fighting in a style that would tend to make Mares' blows extra low. So, do you think his corner told him: "Don't worry, the fix is in and you won't get called on it, so throw low all night." ??? ----------------------------------------------------- I can think of no other explanation, and if this is indeed the case, then Mares is a guilty as anyone else in this travesty.
Probably... it's a corrupt fight. Let's see how's Agbeko's protest will go. I hope GBP didn't forget to pay-off the IBF too or else they will be in big trouble.
