Does this show the value of having a proper fitness & conditioning coach? :huh

obviously. He looked like he just got done eating a box of crispy kreme donuts in the mayweather fight.

I honestly didn't realise marquez's body was so different in both fights. He looks comparable to PAC physique wise in the recent fight. I can hardly see any definition in the mayweather fight.

If U want to face the best roider, you got to fight roids with roids.

Don't know, but he was visibly tired in rounds 9-12 the other day, and often swinging at air and off balance in rounds 10, 11 and especially 12. I thought it was his age showing. I don't think he took his foot off the gas pedal like HBO was saying. I thought he was just getting tired.

Why not show pics of Marquez in comparable positions during both fights so one could make a better assesment?

From my standpoint, Marquez was in better shape for the Pac fight, but from the weigh-in to the actual fight he gained considerable weight in the mid section area. He looked bloated in both fights because he is not a welterweight.

Looking at both fights I see a difference physically, Marquez has alot more mass in his traps and a little less fat in the midsection for the Pac fight. Noticeable difference, but nothing drastic.

The camera angles are deceptive. They show him bending in certain ways to make him seem softer.

I think he was in a little better shape but like i said, these pics are deceptive.

Show a pic of him flexing at the weigh in in 09 and he wont look so doughy

Also in 99% sure he weighed 148 against Mayweather.

The main thing I noticed in Pac-Marquez 3 is that Marquez looked musclebound. You could really see the definition in his muscles and he looked bigger than PAC no question.

In the Mayweather fight he weighed about 5 pounds less and looked soft and flabby. I won't say he used roids in 2011 but I will say he definately trained as is if it was the most important fight of his life.

You can see fat rolls on Marquez in those Mayweather pics.

If Floyd isn't fighting Martinez or Pacquiao next, I would like to see him fight JMM.

Most people here were saying the extra muscle was going to slow JMM down.

He was better conditioned and stronger this time but as you noted pre fight, his speed and reactions had declined
