Some of these things are cultural/philosophical. I've always valued heavier, more hurtful punches over busy punches. I consider it quality over quantity. Bradley missed most of his punches, mostly landed jabs. Marquez threw less and landed harder shots. Close fight could have went either way based on philosophy. No issues with Bradley getting the nod. (Not surprised with the bandwagoning, part of the game). In Mexico Marquez would have gotten the nod which is why I think he is frustrated. He's had to come to the US for all the big fights and when it's close he never gets the nod. The US media has always had a love hate relationship with Mexican boxers, sometimes favoring their aggression, sometimes favoring the US boxer regardless of style. Whatever fits their agenda at the moment.
Which goes to show that even the judges have no idea how to score a round. Marquez won that round hands down, but apparently that short left hook tha caught Marquez while both were swinging wildly tipped the round to Bradley on those judges cards. Marquez was winning the round by far, and that judges must have thought, "oh stumble, round Bradley!" Dissapointing to have judges take 2:30 minutes of great work by Marquez and give it to Bradley over one punch that made Marquez stumble.
