Hagler should have brought that gun to the ring with him. He wasn't going to beat SRL with his fists, that's fo damn sure.
Rarely. Although with some fighters when they're the least bit comfortable or hurt, they cover up or air on the side of cautious. Hagler's one of those fighters I wondered if he may have did this. With great durability fighters, it's rarely a shot that's going to have them out of there. They'll slip, or take something off that shot, and if it stings them they'll cover up or be smart. It would take a lot of arsenal to stop a man like Hagler. The thing is, he wouldn't allow it to ever happen... even if you could. Incredibly durable.
I can only think of Hearns landing that right hand. But, as it's been said earlier it only stunned Marvelous for only an instant. Hagler was the greatest. At his pinnacle he had no weaknesses.

Hearns right hand hurt him the most. Mugabi landed an uppercut in round 6 which was also good, but didn't hurt him really. But I think he was rocked a little.
Duran did the same thing Antuofermo did. Convince Marvin he had to win the fights inside the distance.
I posted the fight report from Boxing News a few years ago, as it was claimed there wasn't a detailed one in existence. Marv was shaken a couple of time in the first Finnegan fight too... Has anyone heard this story about Hagler's skull being examined and it was determined he had a thick layer of muscle surrounding his temple? At 3:07 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7jMK2VN9Os[/ame]
The only time I remember seeing Marvin hurt was when the decision was announced at the end of his fight with Leonard.
