I think Mike should have been allowed to pound the already lifeless body of Marvis a little bit longer.

Damn, Cortez was very slow to get in there. He should have jumped in earlier. I know it's tough to do that when it's two heavyweights, but still. This wasn't as bad as Tony Perez watching Ray Mercer almost decapitate Tommy Morrison, though.

He was stopped to early, I'm sure that if Cortez let the fight go on Frazier would have gotten up at least 6 times. You know that when Marvis stood up to Tyson and let his hands go, he would have beat him. Tyson lost to everyone who fought back, that wasn't afraid of him.

I had it about even on points and there was only 150 seconds left in the round, so I can see why it may be construed as a premature stoppage.
It's like the Chavez-Taylor affair really though, kind of, but in reverse. We can guess that Marvis Frazier was fooling around and probably just about to put a 10 round schooling on Tyson from that point on, but the referee couldn't be sure and probably thought he was doing the right thing for Frazier's safety. It was a fair judgement call.
