Was Mayweather/Pacquiao Really A Boring Fight?

"America wasted $400 million on Mayweather-Pacquiao" was the USA TODAY headline.

That pretty much says it all.

 

The intention was to give them comfort and reassurance that had he not been injured, he'd have performed better and beaten floyd.

 

After seeing pacquiao get knocked out by marquez and struggle with bradley i pretty much expected the fight to be the way it was. Pac has known for a while he isnt the same fighter but decided to cash in. I had hoped he would take some notes from Maidanas excellent performance but he obviously had no intention of going for broke.

 

it was not to bad, i was on the edge of my seat the entire time seeing something we waited 5 years for

 

he threw and landed more punches tho ?

 

it was very disappointing even a shot Pac who had been sparked out late in his career managed to hurt Mayweather in 3 different times and all this while fighting with a torn rotor he was not even allowed to use a shot imagin a prime Pac without a injury?

One example was in round 4 Pac landed even a soft left which had Mayweather hurt and Pac had him in the ropes landing shots then faded could you imagine a 2010 Pac? He would of never let him breath and his stamina was completely different Mayweather himself said Pac was not the same.

At the end of the day both fighters won and the fans lost they made more money but they should of fought in their primes and Mayweather didn't want to.

 

The arena nearly exploded when Pac landed that left hand I cant imagine what would of happened if Pac stopped him.

 

Pac landed the more significant punches and initiated all of the action. People were probably still expecting the Pacquiao who knocked Hatton out but it was obvious he wasn't the same fighter.

 

Yes it was boring, boring and atleast 6 years too late. Although the fact it was so boring just proves Mayweather was in control as he always makes his fights boring and Manny Pac does the exact opposite in his.

 

is it worth addressing just how one sided this post is even if i cite facts and evidence or shal i not bother

 

I guess Pac didn't realize that such an explanation would infuriate many fans who felt deceived.


BTW

Delajoya did something similar in his bout against BH. He entered the ring with an injured stitched hand due to an accident. He was on the verge of cancelling but Bernard convinced him otherwise because of the large amount of money involved. After the fight, it was revealed that they had become business partners.

 

Farce, how? Pac has just been iced by the juiced right hand of Roidquez. Roidquez wouldn't fight Rios at all.

Roidquez didn't want to fight Rios, Maidana, Provodnikov, or Matthysse at any point of their careers when they were calling him out.

And if Pac was a fraud, why did Roidquez have to juice? And why did Floyd have to juice?
