Floyd isn't knocking out Clenelo in a million years, healthy hands or not. For starters, Clenelo was much bigger than him, has an iron chin, and Floyd wasn't a big puncher. At 140 and below his punches were more damaging but above 140 against bigger opponents he had enough power to keep you honest.

His hand problems might have affected his power at 147 and 154 but he never possessed the power to knock out Clenelo and there's no shame whatsoever in that because of the size difference and Clenelo has got a titanium chin.

We'll never know as Canelo didn't want to test the possibility.

He spent a long time insisting that he defend the 160 lb belt at 155, and generally waiting Golovkin out.

When he finally felt he could manage GGG, he took the fight and was saved by the judges with a draw in a fight he pretty clearly lost.

    So, we'll never know.

There was never any weight they could have met at where Floyd stops Canelo.

But prime Floyd at 154 would always beat Canelo on points.
