I'v been watching some Mccallum fights and more than once (I think in the Mccrory and Curry fights) they were saying that his age was unverified and that there were reports that when someone attempted to verify his documents back in Jamaca he may have really been as old as 35 (at the time of the curry fight in 1985) If true then he would have been 40 in the first Toney fight and 45 when he fought Jones. Anyone remember hearing about this at the time or have anymore information about his age?
I'm not sure even McCallum really knows. His age was a question way back when he won his first title, even before.....
