this guy who fought in the gym i used to go to fought on the undercard. It says it was a great fight and he survived a knockdown to win. Brian Camechis 17-0 (8)
DAMN! How could i miss that! U think you can describe the undercard bout? I remember how bad Brian used to whoop my ass...little ****er was tough.
Yeah, he is one tough guy alright. He got his ass off the canvass and come back to win. Hopefully he learned from last night's experience that he has to make himself harder to hit.
He didn't look to have the greatest skills in the world, got hit with alot of overhand rights, but he was tough as hell, hung in there and banged with a hard hitter. Dominated every round other than the one he got floored. Did alot of nice work to the body early and broke Doel down. Doel basically ran the last round because of the body work. I'd love to see him again on FNF's cause he gave everything he had and was tough as ****.
he has a slow plotting style, but tough as nails....and they said the dude started boxing late in life....:good
Very entertaining back and forth affair, Camechis showed toughness and heart but really needs to tighten up his D. He was slightly better in skill, but let his opponent hang in there, and repatedly got hammered with hard counter shots, and suffered a knock down. Meza-Clay, shined. Dominated Eric Aiken, worked his way in with the jab and Aiken couldnt keep him away. Once inside? Monty let his hands go well in combination and it was stopped in 7. WTF is up with Mcpherson? Thats what i wanna KNOW:yep If i could have made the fight I would have more info, but did he appear as scheduled. I've been at a couple events where he was scheduled but never fought. World class promotions has been steadily putting decent, consistent, and better cards together, I'm scratching my head on Juan. He should be in the fore front of the guys being showcased? Whats been the deal, you know?
I saw Camechis fight down Wheeling Island last November. He wares opponents down with a ton of body shots. He could be a top ten fighter by the end of 2008. :thumbsup
he started after high school... good to hear he put on a good show. When he was doing some training, I was cocky and said I wanted to be the first to spar with him. I hit him with a 1-2 and was feeling good, and he proceeded to brutalize me. I didnt last a minute.
Camechis's opponent threw next to no body shots and still he was hitting him squarely in the head over and over. Like it's not a hard guess where he's shooting for and he kept his hands down. Tough guy but should not have been in trouble against that meat sack he was fighting, quite an enjoyable fight though.
I started a thread last night (it's still around today) saying FNF is about to start now (RJJ is sittin in for Atlas). We discussed the bouts and kind of rbr in that thread.
