    I know after the Qawi fights he lost it pretty fast and hard, but was there ever a window when this was discussed?

    Yes it would have happened if Saad hadn't lost to Braxton/Qawi.

    They were even keeping it somewhat aligned in the shadows of the Qawi - Saad rematch hoping like hell Saad won as it was a fight people really wanted to see.

    Yes take a look at this clip go to 19:27 for reference this was after Spinks KO'ed Johnson you can see Muhammad Saad Muhammad with Michael Spinks in the post fight interview hyping up a potential fight between the two.

    I still remember Spinks yelling "He KEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEED you!!!" over & over again. :lol:
