That is a joke and a serious lack of boxing knowledge from your side.

Obviously you havent followed Dariusz Michalczewski's fights. By the time he fought Gonzales he wasnt just old in age at 36 but he was completly worn out and on the slide. That was his 50th fight (Roy Jones's 50th pro fight was a KO9 loss to Glen Johnson following his KO2 loss to Tarver) and he had some very tough ones in his career. From his 20th fight on he fought only title fights with at least B level opposition or better. After Gonzales he fought Fabrice Tiozzo a limited opponent and came in at superb shape but put on the worst performance of his career and got knocked out.

To say that Gonzales would beat a prime Michalczewski is as ludicrous as saying that Tarver or Johnson would beat prime Roy Jones.

Michalczeski wasnt overrated. He was just past his prime. It was his 49th pro fight. He was very good boxer and had one ot the best left hand in boxing in the period he was fighting.

Its a pitty that he didnt fight vs RJJ, they both were at there primes. Probably RJJ would have won that, because he was just better boxer. But Tiger would have been a tough one - we know that styles make fights, so victory could have gone in either side.

He unified WBO, WBA and IBF belts without beating a top 25 fighter.... interesting
