Cuz I've noticed that he clinched a lot in his fights (even with rooney), And when he was tied up, He wouldn't work inside. I noticed that in the Pinklon Thomas, Larry Holmes, and Buster Douglas Fight. But what are your thoughts?

His aggresion and work rate are far above your average fighter. He showed points of laziness in several of his fights, he dedicated his entire life to boxing since he was 13, most people would end up losing interest in it. Most people that is, alot of the rest of us would've loved to had that grooming for sucess.

I wouldn't say he was lazy he was exceptionally gifted and on top of that infighting was not his strength he was a mid range fighter......his biggest issue which is the same for any fighter of that caliber was his easily beating world ranked guys so I suspect it was getting harder and harder to train like he had for 1-4 round fights....on top of external issues he barely trained for some of his fights which led to the Douglas lost...why train that hard when you only got to hit the top fighters a few punches for a victory.

he lacked the nous for a Lennox/klitschko like consistency.

H shouldda been mature enough to realise that at top level he was going ned to be in tp shape every time. Maybe this comes from winning the title too young, being literally too good too early. Maybe he started to believe in his media image as a permanent thing that he was, not something he needed to graft at to create and maintain. Its easy for young men to fall in this trap, maybe he did.
