I mean - yes, clearly. They showed the replay a zillion times. A jab busted up Franco's eye. This should have taken less than five minutes of deliberation and the arbiters should have ruled it a TKO.

Yeah, because Red states have never been corrupt. Talk about living in a bubble. Read a history book before you make a blanket statement like that.

I 'd like to know who they were talking to on the phone for 30 minutes at ringside, Byrd looked like a crack head who'd lost his pipe. Bradley knew they would screw this kid because they took so long and he said so.

It was a thumb that closed his eye, yes he was getting tagged repeatedly but the thumb clearly did the damage as in to close the eye.

No question about it, it was one of the worst decisions in the sport ever, especially after using replays to decide.

    Criminal.

2020 has been a crazy year. Our stadiums empty, restaurants closed, streets in major cities desolate. It’s good to know some things haven’t changed. Corruption in Vegas is Covid proof, alive and well. Vegas isn’t the only place where we see boxing corruption but it remains the Mecca of corruption.

The decision made me angry but did not surprise me. Vegas is Vegas. Scum city, I mean Sin City.

Thumbing incidental to a legal blow isn't a foul, as would be a flagrant standalone thumb poke a`la The 3 Stooges. This was a TKO any way you slice it. The only controversial point was the headbutt allegedly being the damage's source.

I have no issue with initial decision because things are happening quick and anybody could call it wrong. I have a major issue with them reviewing it for 25 mins and not correcting it. That’s unacceptable and Absolutely mind blowing.

Right? If you're gonna be corrupt make it an entertaining, fast paced broadcast. If you're going to spend half an hour (on a broadcast that started late) agonizing over a replay, then get it right.

    I'll take either one!

I don't think it was about corruption. I think it was about saving face. Franco's not some super popular A-side fighter w/ a massive fan base representing some big revenue generating machine.
