Possibly but how many guys not fit to lace his gloves is he going to have to take losses from before this last performance appears, I personally think he emptied himself of any greatness that might have been left in the Maidana fight, he didn`t look good at all vs Cano & he should maybe have retired then & there... but hindsight is a wonderful thing & Erik has never been a cautious sort of guy, it was always inevitable he`d take it to the wire & lose to guys he should never lose to. Oh well, the world keeps spinning, but as far as Morales career, its over.
Now run and fetch a video of Calslappy not looking like a complete ****ing tool while hitting a heavybag. Defend your hero's honor, Stanley.
Garcia is definitely good but Morales has been beyond shot since 2006. This is 6 years after the 3 damaging Pacquiao fights, so you can guess what state Morales is in right now or just watch his performance. I seriously hope he retires, I would hate to see him drop to guys he would have stomped in his prime.
There's no doubt that Morales is over the hill but it took a really good fighter to show him that. He should'nt be under no illusions that his skills are not viable at 140 or any other weight. It's time to close the show.:bbb
Serious question cormonger, what are your boxing credentials, because you're obviously in a position to criticise a world champion's training techniques. Are there any videos of you on the heavybag?
I didn't bother looking, but did just find this - Zaggers looking excellent in the ring. Sit back and enjoy :deal [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCB5vZCpkjY[/ame]
