Tony Tubbs had some swift hands I always thought.

He was the precursor to Andy Ruiz of the fast handed chubster.

Floyd had faster hands but, given his demeanor, he never let loose like he should have, only showing us that numbing speed on occasion.
"Passive Floyd", "don't want to hurt anyone Floyd", etc..
My goodness, it took him 23 rounds to dispose of Harris/London??

Prime Greg Page was faster than Tubbs and Dokes.

The super fast Ali from the 60s was a modern day cruiserweight. 205l - 210lbs.

Patterson would be small for a cruiserweight today.

Dokes in his prime Ali clowned him sparring, and Ali was WELL past prime and in the early stages of Parkinson's when they sparred.

The Heavyweight today that's knocking out everyone ((Wilder) weights about 213 lbs. Ali in 67" weighted between 212-215. Get over this bigger is better theory when comparing Heavyweight boxers. Another example T.Fury at almost 260, Nickali Valuev at 7 feet tall and 331 lbs are not ko artist or very hard punchers. Get over the Hype please, or your own stereotyping and learn what really is important for men over 200 lbs skill-technique, athletic ability, physical and mental toughness.

That proves nothing. A young unknown Witherspoon was said to have handled Ali with ease in the build up to Ali's fight with Holmes in 1980. Does that mean a prime Witherspoon would have beaten prime Ali?

You can tell the know nothings who immediately gravitate to “weight” or “size” when comparing heavyweight fighters. Stress the easy stuff because they know nothing of the difficult aspects of the sport.

Ali in his prime makes jokes out of today’s laughing stocks.
