Well he did lose against the good big fighters of his time. His record was 7-3-1 against opponents over 215 pounds.

"Good" big fighters? He only lost to Ali and Foreman. They are arguably in the top five heavyweights who ever lived.

    Jesus Christ.

Yes and the fact that they were big for their era should tell you something.

its common knowledge he carried the HoFer. Thats prime HoFer, not washed up midget.
Why you lying to yourself about this?

one of those losses was a title shot. why u lying?

some contention about him getting knocked over. why you lying?

alis weakest defence is not representative of his defences level. why you lying?

    european champ. why u lying?

just 33 then. why u lying making out he was aged.

why u lying by mentioning his stay busy fights, and not the preceeding chuvalo, atg foster, bonavena.

why you lying so much tonight? explain why. thanks.

your arguments are weak as ****.

And who "walked through Ali" exactly?

Joe Frazier didn't. Ali was back in the ring three months later, at which time Joe Frazier had just gotten out of the hospital ... and it took Frazier a year for him to come back against Terry "freaking" Daniels.

The thread isnt about Ali..its about the 1960's fighters he fought. i would assume there was no one skilled enough to do that.Joe was only 5'11 and up against a much faster 6'3 mover he had to keep pressing and still won.

So you are using the 3 year window that Ali was champ to represent an entire decade. Only someone who knows they are wrong does that.

Yeah of course, his speed, fleetness of foot, ring craft must of been quite something to see back then, the eye test here tells us everything I reckon, add to that some of the killers he faced in the 70s I'm not sure anyone could of done better against em.

Hall of Famer and World Heavyweight Champion Sonny Liston walked through everyone in the 1950s and 1960s, except Ali. Liston was the favorite both times they fought. Liston even cheated and tried to blind Ali so he could knock him out. Still, Ali stopped him twice when Ali was 22 years old.

Hall of Famer and Former World Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson was dominated and stopped by Ali ... while never winning a round ... when Ali was 23 years old.

Ali dominated WBA Champ Ernie Terrell and tortured him over 15 rounds, carrying him so he could punish him, and then he got destroyed in the press for being so cruel. Ali did that when he just turned 25.

How old is Joshua ... 27? Who has he beaten? Dominic Breazeale?

These threads are a f*cking joke.

Get back to me when Joshua has had about 50 or 60 fights and has won anything other than the vacant belt Charles Martin copped when Glazkov twisted his knee.

Your point's still valid, but let's be fair to Patterson. He was so much smaller than Ali, when they fought it looked like Ali was fighting a child.
