Was nicky piper a good boxer?

    Hard to imagine him taking a punch when you see him as a pundit. Looks like a grown up Harry Potter. Probably was a tough fighter though.

    He was a good fighter, did well against Benn before the stoppage. Shame he never fought for the British title, as it seemed he was chasing a world title. Commonwealth champion and world title contender = good IMO.

    he could really punch could nicky.
    did well against nigel benn and was beating kronk fighter leonzeer barber before running onto a massive punch which turned the fight.
    piper was one round away from being the world champion.

    the footage of him crying after losing is really hard to watch, we slate him for his commentary but the guy loves boxing from a deep place....even though he can look like every lesbian you have ever seen in your life in the wrong light

    Yeah he was a decent boxer, nice guy too, amazingly enormous head though.
