Ray Robinson had far better fundamentals than any other fighter you mention here, he was the most conventional fighter in history, mastering every fundamental in the game, Floyd had far better defensive fundamentals than Roy and Naz, Hamed even admitted that in an interview, no comparison at all.

How many fighters in the 30's and 40's fought with a similar style to Ray Robinson.?

His style was unique at the time.

See benn vs eubank 1 /2 , the first was before hed been beat / koed , although logan nearly had him out , he learnt he couldnt ko everyone and that he blew a gasket cardio wise trying to finish eubank the first time , similar in a sense to wlad klitschko , early on all out aggressive ko machines , once koed thereselves turned into boxer punchers to greater effect . Benn knew his limitations ,mainly chin but he rolled with it and got a few koes when on the verge himself , my all time favourite to watch by a mile from brtiain !

A real fighting man who should have retired in the same year as the McLennan fight in my opinion.

Eubank Snr had his number and he wanted to burst those wide nostrils so bad but he could not get to him.

Ended his career with 3 defeats where the wars had caught up with him although Steve Collins was a very tough opponent for anyone.

A warrior and a British Boxing legend.

He just did everything correctly and other fighters didn`t, plus his timing and speed were amazing.

Spot on....but I've very rarely seen a fighter improve like Benn did:
    i) After Watson loss in America....he added lateral movement, patience and a little boxing ability

ii) After the Eubank loss....he added phenomenal stamina in tenerife and slowly that bob and weave defence.

At his peak he was a world away from the one dimensional 22-0 brawler who quit vs Watson.

But he was never anything more than a top 3 guy at 168 at his peak. You do have to take into consideration the WBO title coming along at the perfect time for these guys like him...who ten years earlier would been no different to Colin Jones or Herol Graham

Bigging up his son. Connor Benn is a fan friendly fighter who is improving while being pushed with the sky agenda behind him to capture the casuals who watch the sport.

Niger Benn is a fighting legend within British boxing history along with the unique Chris Eubank Snr.

He had put Gerald in place where he deserved to be. ;)
This is better achievement and more nice lesson than all world's pro belts.

Not compared to how hard it was to win the world title ten years earlier during a tougher era.
