Eubank Jr found similar against George Groves. But then he’s no Nigel Benn

After this fight he had won next 2 fights in row. Then started to loss fights.
Maybe these half crazy Geralds fans too made some impact there: yelling that he is evil and killer.
If you step in the ring to fight, you should know risk even in amateurs.
If this is pro prize fighting, you should accept this risk.

Fighters are not different, regardless how well they are known and had been advertised. Some not well known kid had died, then ppl in forums doesn't pay attention.
In the world each day some firefighter dies and no one cares for this in forums.
Then excuse: professional risk should had been understood and evalued before one had selected his road in life looks normal.
With prize fighters is the same and they should get xx years long discussions just because they had been advertised.
Firefighter might die when he attempts to save your, exactly your life. Prizefighter might die when he entertain you with his fight.
What thing is more valuable for you: your own life/death question or fun to watch fights?

Tragedy for anyone to die in the ring bud. Probably just mclellan was more publicised because he was more well known. But anyone thats damaged or killed in a ring is an absolute tragedy regardless of how famous they are.

Its not that they dont accept the risk...its just that its still terrible news regardless if they accepted the risk or not. At the end of the day boxings a sport.

From combat sport not only boxing is risk and even in amateurs. Deaths happens. Moto sport, horse racing too is high risk. Alpinism etc a like kind of fun or sport.
People in rare cases are thinking about their possible end maybe even God. Regardless how you call your God and how think about life, risky sports ( not only combat sport ) are partially your conversation with you existence, with God. Each time. You might not do combat sport and still he might be so near there with another world near behind us.
Life is beautiful also for firefighter casual, alpinist et kind and even amateur fighter or a pro.
Life might be harsh and end might be near. Instead of thinking how to take fun from each day, we usually are feeling too safe that we will be there tomorrow.

But McClellan`s power had more effect that Benn`s, he floored him twice, it`s jst that he found Benn harder to hit than all his other opponents, Benn`s defense was better than G-man`s in that bout.

Lest not forget Benn only moved to 12st in the first place to chase the Eubank rematch wanting revenge
