    De La Hoya-Quartey.

It was suspenseful enough to be enjoyable when it happened, but due to the lack of action, it has **** replay value. Two exciting rounds, and ten slow rounds with too much ****ing posing.

I've actually heard people say it was the best WW fight of the decade.:lol:

Clearly you watched it years after the fact or you didn't see it live.

But that the atmosphere and drama in the fight namely, Holyfield doing significantly better than expected made it compelling, because of who he was fighting.

    De la Hoya vs. Hopkins
    (not exciting)

There was nothing new about seening Trinidad get badly outboxed. DLH had already gave him a clinic.

mayweather v corrales was great to watch due to the skills of mayweather that night.

tyson v holyfield?that was great fight.

de la hoya v quartey?it was a good fight.the only downside was quartey getting robbed.

de la hoya v hopkins.agreed, you don't play cat and mouse with a former welter who had no right being in the middleweight div.in his previous fight he got beat well and truly by sturm who was robbed that night.

now for some really boring fights.

    lewis v tua marquez v gainer w.klitschko v ibragimov w.klitschko v mccline

    rahman v ruiz taylor v spinks tszyu v tackie p.williams v cintron jones v tarver 3

marquez v medina calzaghe v starie dawson v johnson 2 and most of rocky jurez fights.that guy makes me depressed.

Probably wasn't too exciting because Mosley held for about 90% of that fight.

Marco Antonio Barrera vs Rocky Juarez II

After the first fight being such an entertaining, competitive affair...you'd be forgiven for thinking something similar was on the horizon in the rematch. Not at all, one sided, boxing exhibition.

Clottey vs Pacquiao is one of the worst fights ever in boxing. I dont think nobody on ESB has watched this fight more than once. Clottey vs Pacquiao is the reason some casual fans dont watch boxing. That fight made boxing look very bad. REAL TALK!!!

By the same token, you maintain that Mayweather/Baldomir is one of the reasons casual fans don't watch Boxing...right?

Agree, what got be about that is that there was 1 round where Lampley or Merchant got excited and started saying how much of a good fight it was, i was like, err no Jim, Barrera has been exclusively using the jab most of the fight and not much else.
