Was Oscar's win over Vargas one of the best in the last decade?

A very good win, not quite 1 of the best of the decade, Vargas was destroyed by Trinidad down more than once in his comeback fights were he didn't quite look the same. Vargas also wasn't that great or dedicated but he was very good none the less

Yeah but Vargas was maybe going to stop him if it wasn't for the low blows

Great win. I think definetly one of his best. Vargas was a beastly destroyer at his best.

U seriously overrate Vargas roid or no roids. On top of my head I think these wins are better----

Tarver Jones II (This was my Ali-Holmes fight. I still remember the people i was with and the bar in BK when I saw this fight)
MAB Hamed (Was happy to see someone shut Hamed up...first time i took notice off MAB)
    Pac Mab 1
    Pac Hoya
Em over Pac (reality check for Pac...too fast too soon challenging the 3 musketeers within 2 years)
    Hopkins Pavlik
    Hopkins Pascal II (historically significant)
Donaire Darchinyan (kinda like my reaction to MAB/Hamed)
Mab em I II III (best trilogy ever)
    Hatton Tsyzu
Forrest Shane (Shane finally looked outclassed)

How in the HELL did Vargas give Tito hell as you ****ers state? Vargas won one ****ing round in their entire fight, the fourth round...

As for the low blows, Tito took the thumb to the left eye and some low blows like a ****ing man, so STFU!!!

To be fair he didn't say Top 10 or anything specific like that, just that it was one of the best wins in the last decade. I think it was.

All the ones you listed are great as well, with the exception of 1 that doesn't belong. Pac vs De La Hoya.

    This. :deal

If JMM got the decision he deserved in the 3rd Pac fight it would've been the win of the decade, but he didn't.

I think if you asked Pac himself what was his best win he'd either say MAB or Oscar. Hindsight is 20/20 but at the time everyone thought Oscar would be too much for Pac. I read somewhere that even the PI govt was trying to block the fight. It was a superfight in which there was a decided underdog not only winning but straight up dominating. So say what you will about it now, but it was one of the best wins in the decade and people will always remember and talk about that fight years down the road. Besides, who didn't enjoy watching a career featherweight bitchslap boxing's primadonna for 8 rounds.

I'd say EM over Pac has gotta be up there as top wins of 2000-2009. Pac had that Mike Tyson aura going into that fight. I came in thinking that the JMM draw was a minor anomaly and that Pac would blitz and knock out this guy. But by the end of that fight EM had become my 2nd favorite fighter.
