Was O'Shaquie Foster robbed last night against Robson Conceicao?

    Watching the fights last night I thought Foster won without question. As much as I like Robson I just don't feel he did enough to win.
    Anyway I feel these judges need to be penalized and even terminated for incompetency.
    Here are the numbers as I understand.

    1. Foster total thrown 435 - Conceicao total thrown 698
    2. Foster landed 109 - Conceicao landed 76
    3. Foster had a 25% PCT - Conceicao had an 11% PCT.
    4. Foster landed 20 body shots - Conceicao landed 27

    Fosters shots were more significant as well imo.

    Thoughts?

    The biased commentary did exactly what it was supposed to do, and biased people beyond belief. At best it was a 115-113 either way type of match, certainly not some ridiculously wide schooling like that sleazy asswipe Kriegel and pumpkinhead prostitute Bradley were trying to sell to the viewers. So no, not even close to a robbery. Foster was extremely negative, Conceicao was aggressive throughout, landed more than the punch stats, which are a crock gave him credit for, O'Shocky only has himself to blame.

    Punch stats are wrong nearly everytime. Back in the day we rewatched with the sound off and scored. Give it a try.

    I had it 115-113 for Conceicao simply because he was the dictating the fight while being the aggressor.

    I watched it in the background at the bar so I was not watching the fight closely nor did I see every single round so I can't comment on the score because I didn't score the fight.

    It seemed like Foster was getting the better of the action from where I was watching seemed like he had the more effective punching. I'm not in position to comment on the decision

    I did talk to my brother this morning who did watch the fight and he said that while Foster was clearly the better boxer and had the more accurate punches and the better defense he didn't do a whole lot on offense. He said that Foster was content to try to make him miss but not really make him pay and that maybe the judges vantage point could make it seem like a lot of what Robinson was throwing was actually Landing even if it wasn't. Sometimes ineffective aggression can Trump someone who's not aggressive at all

    For what it's worth I believe the ESPN Spanish broadcast had Foster losing

    Agreed, Punch stats are also meaningless if just given the totals at the end of the fight fights are scored round by round so I only even care about punch stat if it is done round by round but at the end of the day punches carry different degrees of power and effectiveness if punch stat decided fights we wouldn't need judges

    I dont think I have it in me to watch the last 6 rnds. I had it a draw with just 6 nds in before I switch to the other fight. Sounds like it could have gone either way. I wont call it a robbery unless someone can show the definitive 7 rnds Foster won.Cause that is the only way this is a robbery.

    Watched it hoping Conceicao would win. He didn't but credit to him for trying his heart out.

    I did not know Bradley was on the mic last night. No disrespect but it sounds like you were losing your marbles listening to the guy. Maybe you should get a grip. Btw I don't disagree with you that he shouldn't be commentating.
    I was simultaneously watching two fight cards last night and the boxing gods blessed me with volume from Diaz vs Masvidal card which kinda sucked also.
    My point is Robson was swinging into a lot of free air. Foster was more precise with harder blows off the back foot.

    I didn't score the fight as the insanely biased commentary from The Three Stooges (Bradley, Tessitore and Kriegel) was so unbearable I lost interest and became easily distracted about halfway through.

    Bradley had the script written out beforehand and he was determined to stick to it no matter what.

    He was noshing Sharkey Foster so hard in round 2 trying to create a narrative we were witnessing a masterclass from him that it made it feel like we were already in round 11 and Foster had put on a 10 round clinic.

    Mercifully, Kriegel only has a supporting role and we get breaks from having to listen to his BS because if we had to listen to that clown rabbit on nonstop like Bradley the ESPN commentary experience would be even more unbearable

    I wasn't trying to convince you.

    I'm starting to question whether he's always been this bad and maybe I'm just noticing it more recently or if he's just got a lot worse :lol:

    Is there a way to watch the ESPN shows without commentary? Because its the only broadcast team in the long history i have with boxing that genuinely distracts me during a fight because of how bad they are.

    I may have to give the Spanish language broadcast a shot.
