No, real reason is that clottey wanted to be invited to manny's birthday party. Losing to him was a sure way to be invited.
The logic behind that is completely ******ed. Clottey's supposed lack of confidence is evidence that the fight was fixed?? Arum told him to calm his confidence???? wtf
I dunno man... the video's not all that convincing. It's like "oooh, let's show some clips of Clottey with a different demeanour and put some spooky 'conspiracy theory music' behind it". There's not much substance in it. I think that Clottey was just humbled and completely overtaken by the experience. It's like, he's struggled and struggled, AND STRUGGLED for a piece of the limelight, and then BAM! Overnight, he's basically handed a fight with the biggest fighter on the planet in a brand new STADIUM. That's enough to humble anyone, unless you're pretty much an idiot or an egomaniac. All that being said, I could also see the fix being in, because, well, this is boxing. I just wouldn't conclude that it was fixed based on the evidence that Clottey was more quiet and humbled in the pre-fight interviews.
I mentioned his talks of... "Nobody has cracked me. I want to see if I feel his punches." As a sign that Clottey would shell up and be on the defense. I don't think the fight was fixed, it didn't have to be. Knew he would true to survive... knew it was probably over before it began. Not because it was fixed... maybe Arum slipped up being knowing Clottey had no chance. I mean... no one else thought he would. Clottey doesn't ever talk much. Nothing crazy about this video.
What the **** hahaha. Great video. Clottey knew he was in the toughest fight of his life and everybody had all ready written him off, of course his demeanor was different. The outcome was inevitable. No conspiracy.
Go watch the interview of clottey after the fight. He wanted to be the first to not get stopped by pacman since pac moved up. Diaz KTFO- Delahoya quit- Hatton KTFO- Cotto TKO- Clottey loss decision
