Arum would never dare fix a fight. Its not like his offices were tore apart collecting evidence for a grand jury that indited him on charges of fixing fights a few years ago!

I supposed Mosley/DLH 1 was fixed too, with all that glove touching going on every round. Sometimes people just respect each other. :deal

Clottey blamed a bout of diarrhea on his loss as well as never receiving a call of encouragement from Azumah Nelson or Ike Quartey too.Seems like the guy has excuses for underachieving for whatever reason. He also wouldn't open up and attack no matter how much his trainer begged him to do.

Then again,i'm sure he wasn't feeling too great if Pac was slamming him with body shots while he was on the brink of shitting himself.but that would have been beyond epic if he started filling the ring with ****.

Clottey has proven he has a way to lose big fights no matter what the circumstance. If he wants to lose he will invent a way to screw himself on the spot. I'm surprised he didn't come up with the idea of diving out of the ring like a flying fish. I think its important to be critical of fights when there are great disparities of wealth and stature between fighters, and extenuating circumstances. This sport has a long and storied history of corruption and fixed fights. I don't trust Arum.

:huh I heard Josh PRAISE Floyd on a number of occasions...the same why he respected Manny for what challenges he presents. I think people are reaching for answers to rationalize why Manny is dominating...the same way they are rationalizing Floyd's recent win over shane. It's just credit to the ability these two men have in the ring as boxers/fighters. People don't want to give credit to either man b/c they are so vested in either Floyd or manny as fans.

I must say you've given this a lot of thought and while it's enteraining it's really all just conspiracy theriost kind of thought. The same things can be said or done for any fighter including Shane's loss to Floyd or JMM loss to Floyd.

Josh only landed on Manny at 30% in their fight....he did have sucess in landing on Manny but usually when Manny just stood right there in front of Josh and allowed him the opportunity to open up. And in some spots he had some success.

Josh hasn't disapeared bro....he took a humiliating loss simply bc he was too afraid to open up and didn't want to loose to Manny within the distacne. so he did himself in with not trying to go out on his shield,....whcih was going to be the case if he got brave.

Repect is fine but it was never no edge to this fight. You never heard im going to knock him out saturday night. All you saw was Clottey smiling and asking for Pac's autograph like everybody else. Arum is a known cheat and a person who fix fights. They were like best friends during the press tour, weigh-in, and on fight night. Clottey would him manny then back up back into his guard. He neve not once tried to use his size to his advantage. Never pushed manny back or to the ropes nothing. It was a farce of a fight in my eyes. You may have saw something different.
