No, he got knocked out because he ran into Marquez's "chingon" punch. That's nighty night.

 

Marquez was setting up pac for his shots since the first round. He started very slow and defensive waiting for pac to open up. Then he started working the body. The 3rd round knockdown was set up by a faint to the body. Then Marquez waited for the lazy 1-1 jab combo that pac ALWAYS uses to get inside, he timed him beautifully. It was only a matter of time...if you give someone enough tries without changing some of your tactics, chances are they're going to figure you out eventually.
